A
s attorney, Robin Eubanks, author of ‘Credentialed To Destroy’ wrote in her latest post on Invisible Serfs Collar.com.“Unless the pending reconciliation of the House-passed Student Success Act and the Senate-passed Every Child Achieves Act no longer reflects the language of either bill, the forthcoming ESEA Rewrite will be enshrining the fundamental concepts, values, beliefs, and attitudes of what it means to act as a Muslim per the Tarbiyah Project into federal law. Making the implementation point the states and local schools means nothing as Tarbiyah also fits so well with the Learning Cities/Regions focus that first brought it on my radar screen. Remember Chapter 7 of ‘Credentialed To Destroy,’ where Robin made the title about the Common Core always being about changing Values, Attitudes, and Beliefs?
Here’s an enlightening quote:
“The ultimate aim of this Islamic education is closely related to character building, i.e. producing an integrated Islamic personality that requires Islamic values as its foundation. Hence, these two elements, i.e., beliefs and values, should be considered as key elements in the implementation of the Islamic integrated curriculum.”
After I posted this short 4 min. audio clip of the Women On The Wall Conference Call on Nov. 18th, 2015 ESEA and The Tarbiyah Project I was asked by a Facebook friend to explain more.
Now, let’s break this down. First, you have to understand exactly why attorney, Robin Eubanks, is in a unique position to be able to see beyond what most of us see when reading legislation and most especially the re-authorization of ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act) now known as ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act).
So what is the Tarbiyah Project and what does it have to do with the re-authorization of ESEA?
In America, through the manipulation of legislation, championed by both Republicans and Democrats alike, we have shifted American education from a Kindergarten -12th grade system of education, to what is known as a P-20 W (Pre-School through the workforce) education of Equity (Equal Outcomes). By the way, history has proven this will result in a lose of freedom, liberty and opportunity for the next generation of individual citizens. Our children will be seen merely as “Human Capital” for the government.
In America, we have a history of great prosperity and innovation, because, in the past we have valued an education of opportunity (Equal Opportunity,) based on an individual’s freedom and ability to achieve great things. When a child has a solid foundation and can read, write, do math and knows history; as an adult that individual is free to succeed, and, free to fail, and then learn from that failure and go on to do great things and achieve the ‘American Dream.’
What is most concerning about what Robin Eubanks is tracking, is the vision or blueprint, if you will of ‘Transformational Education Reform’. It is clear that as she is tracking back to original sources, the cross pollination of all three of the below agendas are running parallel, using the same learning theories to control the masses to create submission of the individual mind.
As Robin explained, it is much like a tripod. There are three key agenda’s at play and all want access to our children, in addition to our tax dollars.
1. Secular Humanists/Marxist, such as Linda Darling Hammond, and Bill Ayers.
2. Behavior Psychologist, such as Urie Bronfenbrenner
3. Islamic Extremists such as Hassan Al-Banna
This globally coordinated effort is about submission of Americans, in addition to equalizing and controlling the economy of the United States. Who is behind this global coordination, and who is taking advantage of the shift to an education of equity, “equal outcomes” based on attitudes, values, beliefs, behaviors and worldview?
There are people with varying political agendas who are taking advantage of the revolution underway, as mentioned above, with the goal of global domination. One of the most dangerous is the push for “Sharia” across the world.
As defined in the book “Sharia, a Threat to America”- “Civilization jihad is a form of political and psychological warfare that includes multi-layered cultural subversion, the co-opting of senior leaders, influence operations, propaganda and other means of insinuating shariah gradually into Western societies.”
In the West a fundamental shift is beginning to be felt, as the American idea of individual freedom clashes with the political purpose of control and submission. The outcome will depend on if individuals refuse to submit.
When education is focused on how students perceive the world, that is known as critical theory or cultural Marxism. In Robin Eubank’s post on her blog ‘Invisible Serfs Collar‘ she has uncovered the vision or blueprint of ‘civilization jihad’ as it pertains to a ‘Fundamental Transformation’ in Education in America today- The Tarbiyah Project
Here are excerpts…
She writes:
The Arabic word for this is tarbiyah and it means education for Total Human Development, which is why its mandated practices and tenets dovetail so closely with that other M word that grew out of the political and human philosophy of Uncle Karl. I had never heard the word before yesterday. I had planned to write about the still troubling hijacking of acceptable religious belief systems using the secular K-12 classroom as laid out in an atrocious UNESCO/ UNICEF report sponsored by the Arigatou Foundation called “Learning to Live Together- An Intercultural and Interfaith Programme for Ethics Education.” Looking at that long document and its recommended activities and project-based learning and role-playing experiences, it was obvious this global targeting of each student’s values and beliefs, whatever their religion or lack of it, was already in place in various mandates.
I had pulled, that ICOCI Visionary Model of an Islamic Learning Community in part because it had a nesting graphic that worked like a Russian Matrushka doll with the student at the center just like the Aspen Institute wanted in that “Students at the Center of a Networked World” report created by a Task Force Jeb Bush disturbingly chaired. It extends outwards to classroom, school, community, and workplace, and then global, so it also fits with something a psychologist named Urie Bronfenbrenner developed. The C3 Social Studies Common Core Framework already hypes BEST, which also fits with the Learning Cities/ Regions emphasis from the last post. So not only did the push not seem limited to Islamic communities and countries, the link mentioned that Learning Communities, which we already know are to be required in US schools under the definition of what constitutes being an Effective Principal (see FCL tag), are based on a concept created by the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1943.
The 2011 link which tells us “ICT will play a role in helping the democratization of the usrah system” so we can keep its tenets in mind as we look at various digital learning initiatives. I can look at the various prescribed features of the Tarbiyah Project and recognize the complete alignment with what is being mandated for US classrooms in NCLB waivers, Positive School Climate XO’s, civil rights laws, etc. Most of my regular readers and anyone who has read my book will be able to as well. Phrases like ‘continuous improvement’ that are what every administrator and anyone involved in student and school accountability track verbatim.

From the comments section of Robin’s blog…
“Here are two Arabic words for practices and goals we see in all of our classrooms now as the focus of student-centered learning. Shakhsiyah means personality/identity and the idea is that classroom practices should nurture it. Doesn’t that sound just like metacognition and the ASCD Whole Child Emphasis and Restorative Justice practices in each classroom as part of a mandated Positive School Climate?
Second word is Halaqah, a Narrative Inquiry method rooted in a participative, collaborative, dialogic and spiritual reflexive conversation with autoethnography.” Doesn’t that sound like a Sharing Circle or a Discourse Classroom per Courtney Cazden?. It is designed to create “Thinking Skills”. “Halaqah as a method does not treat participants as complex ‘material subjects’ but values human potential for realisation of deep meaning and personal growth on a spiritual level.”
In other words, an education that reflects the tenets of the Tarbiyah Project as well as what every Humanist Psychologist, Marxist Humanist, or Systems Thinker has ever sought to grease the needed transformation of the individual psyche is PRECISELY how Every Child can now Succeed per Congressional “bicameral and bipartisan” mandate.
I suppose the new acronym will be ECSA and we will just have to taint the politicians of both parties with the Arabic words and scripts for the personalized submission they plan to enact.”
In an historic speech in Cairo, Egypt in June 2009, President Obama expressed his desire to “create a new online network, so a young person in Kansas can communicate instantly with a young person in Cairo.” Since then, the Secretary of State and Secretary of Education have both emphasized the importance of learning other languages, gaining a global competency and traveling to other countries. A number of organizations linking US schools with others around the world are coming together in a new “Connect All Schools” consortium to meet a very specific goal: to connect every school in the US with the world by 2016.
It has been reported that the Brookings Institution, one of the country’s top left-leaning think tanks, has for the first time admitted to Congress that it receives millions of dollars every year from foreign governments, including Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, according to official disclosure forms obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Brookings has come under intense scrutiny by reporters and others for not fully disclosing the large amounts of cash it receives from Middle Eastern governments.
The practice has led some to accuse Brookings and its most prominent scholars of pushing biased analyses aimed at making these foreign governments look good. The think tank’s relationship with Qatar has received particular attention due to the Middle Eastern country’s close relationship with the terrorist group Hamas and its ongoing funding of various terrorist entities.
The disclosure form, which is presented to Congress before an individual testifies, reveals that Brookings received nearly $15 million from the Embassy of Qatar between 2013 and 2015. Brookings also maintains a facility in the Qatari capital of Doha, where Hamas is known to operate freely.
The think tank received another $1,920,000 from the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates between those same years.
As a Texas Mom this gives me great pause. Especially knowing what I know about the re-authorization of ESEA (Elementary and Education Act) which is being pushed full force by Senator Lamar Alexander, has passed both the U.S. House and Senate, is now in conference and when it emerges for a final vote will be well over 1400 pages long. The impact it will have on my local school district and my children will be much more devastating than (No Child Left Behind.) Here are several of the key points I hope other Moms and Dads will stop to think about.
Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn) delivered the key note address for the Brookings Institute where the idea that school districts across America are transitioning from the traditional model of assigning students to a school based on their residential address to a system that allows families a choice of schools. The reality of this will effectively hand our rights over to the government. How does a charter public school differ from a traditional public school? A locally elected school board. Charter Schools are generally run by an appointed board. That board is beholden to whomever is giving the money. Not the Parents or local tax payers. With this plan there will be NO CHOICE and NO VOICE. We will no longer be a constitutional republic but a democracy. Our forefathers warned us about the reality of a Democracy, it equals =mob rule. That is why in the United States we are a Constitutional Republic. They will have accomplished a revolution through education.
- While parents across the country are becoming more and more concerned with the issue of the Federal Government monitoring, tracking and collecting data on our children, it is very alarming to learn that Brookings also has a Center for Universal Education that partners with UNESCO for the UN education agenda where there is a focus on “Global Tracking” and the need to support development of more robust systems for assessing learning outcomes.
According to contacts inside the beltway, the text for the final bill is not written yet. The conferees decided on the policy, and now it has been sent to Legislative Counsel to draft text. Committee staff are not sure when text will be ready.
- The House could take up the conference report as early as Dec 2 or 3, the week we get back after Thanksgiving.
- A 3-Page A summary of the framework approved by the conference committee can be found here.
In the summary of the framework one can clearly see the false narrative of ‘parental choice’ as explain in this clip from the Women on the wall Conference Call.
